Good thinking and good conversations don’t grow, flourish, and fade with the fashion of the season. Like tallgrass prairie, they draw on deep roots and have been tested by fire.

"Lyceum makes me feel 100% comfortable in my own skin. When I arrive at a Lyceum conversation space, I feel welcomed. I don't feel I have to leave my cultures and identities at the door. In fact, I feel invited to bring my whole self into the conversation." — J.J. Kapur
Attending and participating in the Lyceum’s Festival of Ideas last August was an inspiring and enriching experience. The event featured local artists and businesses, fostered open communication on topics like the Iowa caucus and self-care, and highlighted philosophy’s connection to nature and food, leaving me inspired and eager to get more involved. -Emmeline
